Agfa’s Digital Print & Chemicals division is a leading supplier of digital printing solutions for sign & display and industrial markets as well as of innovative products for the green energy market and various niche industries. The division develops, manufactures and markets state-of-the-art printing equipment and software and a wide range of highly specialized inks for specific applications. To support the green energy transition, the division offers innovative membranes for the production of green hydrogen (Zirfon). Furthermore, it supplies customers in a variety of industrial markets with a broad range of films, coated products and chemicals.

For our Digital Print & Chemicals division, we are currently looking for a Marketing Content Specialist to enrich our team. 

In this role, you will be using your creativity and exceptional writing skills and your graphic design background to create engaging content to inspire, attract, connect with, and retain customers.  You will increase the footprint and brand awareness of Agfa DPS through each of the marketing channels.  You will orchestrate the creations of content by external suppliers and  stay up to date with new technologies and marketing trends.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • You translate the marketing content plan into a concrete content production plan

  • You create and maintain an editorial calendar and you follow up on the timely and qualitative delivery of the agreed marketing content

  • You transform complex technical input into easily comprehensible, customer-centric communication deliverables

  • You are able to create (design, write, film, …) high-quality engaging content yourself

  • You edit, proofread, and improve the content provided by others

  • You orchestrate the production of content by external suppliers (creative agencies, copywriters, translation agencies, …)

  • In line with the marketing content plan, you create content that can easily be deployed by your marketing colleagues (digital marketing specialist, event specialist, PR responsible…) on the channels of their respective responsibilities

  • You collaborate with marketing colleagues to seamlessly integrate the created content into all online and offline marketing collateral (website, social media campaigns, product leaflets, campaigns, etc.)

  • You collect, analyze and interpret data to understand our target consumers’ media interests

  • You generate ideas to increase customer engagement

  • You find ways to attract potential customers to subscribe to gated content

  • You’re permanently looking for ways to strengthen our presence on our conventional, as well as our digital marketing channels

  • You analyze what marketing strategies work best and report out on the effectiveness of the content you created

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, journalism or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing relevant content creation skills
  • 2 to 5 years of professional experience
  • Exceptional Storytelling Skills
  • Technical Product Understanding and the capability to translate technical product details into customer-friendly content with commercial appeal.
  • Experience working collaboratively with different teams such as product development, marketing, and sales to create a cohesive narrative.
  • Understanding of content strategy and how it aligns with overall marketing objectives.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and strategies and SEO best practices.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Imagination and creativity to infuse content with a touch of magic and make it stand out in the market.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
